I love to read but usually choose fiction – typically, lighthearted romance novels, because I’ve always been a sucker for happy endings. But this year, I’d like to make some changes in both my personal and professional life, so I made it a goal to read at least 10 non-fiction books that will hopefully inspire me and motivate me to achieve my goals. So, I’ve done my research and made up a list of potential reads for me this year, most of them on the topics of leadership, building good habits, becoming your best self, and letting go of the need for perfection. Stay tuned for reviews as I cross books off my list!
The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg
Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg
#GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso
The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom by Don Miguel Ruiz
Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity by David Allen
Have you read any of the books above? Are there any others that you would recommend?
